Created on April 1, 2000 as one of 3 new regions born when the former very Alberta Region was divided. Providing for existing and new Pony Club organizations.

Hosting annual Regional events in Quiz, Rally , Tetrathlon, Dressage, Show Jumping, and Prince Philip Games, plus national and international competition.
