The South Wales Unitarian Society was formed in 1802 mainly through the labour of the radical poet and thinker, Iolo Morganwg. The purpose of the society at the time was to promote the cause of free religious thinking in Wales, and to defend free religion against the persecution that was present from the orthodox religious denominations.

We believe in the Unitarian Church as a fellowship of those seeking the Kingdom of God.
