Thousands of women in Calgary have volunteered their time and talents through the JLC to help initiate new community programs such as the Golden Age Club, the Volunteer Center, AADAC, Children's Cottage Crisis Nursery, the Ronald McDonald House and the Deane House, to name just a few.
