The Communication Studies program is a liberal arts-based program that allows students to tailor their studies to prepare for a career in a field such as media production, public relations, or communication in organizations, or for further study in professional or graduate school.

The College of Communication and the Arts houses the Schools of Communication Studies, Cinema-Television and Theatre Arts, and Journalism.

Department of Rhetoric and Communication offers the Bachelors degree, along with a minor in Rhetoric and Communication.

Department of Communication Studies offers the B.A. Also available is the M.A. in English with a Communication Studies option.
