One area of study in the Department of Psychology is perception and cognition, and the Department has ties to the University's Center for the Study of Mind, Brain, and Behavior.

RUCCS - The Center stresses computational approaches in the study of intelligent performance. Programs include an undergraduate minor and graduate certification.
