The Körös Regional Archaeological Project
The project brings together an international team of geophysists, geologists, geographers, botanists, and other specialists to undertand the various social changes that occurred in the Körös River Valley on the Great Hungarian Plain nearly 6,500 years ago, during the time when metals first began to be extensively exploited in the nearby Balkan and Carpathian mountains.
Valeria Archaeological Survey Project
The project, which takes its name from the former late Roman province of the region now occupied by central modern Hungary, is aimed at investigating the changing form, function, and distribution of the rural and urban settlements along the Kapos River Valley during the period 300-900 CE.
