World of Plants at Enid A. Haupt Conservatory
The 19th-century building was completely reconstructed in the 1990s. Eleven exhibition galleries provide a journey around the world, with encyclopedic collections of tropical, subtropical, and desert plants. Exhibitions also include stunning collections of palms, ferns, cycads, and aloes. Featuring more than 3,000 specimens, World of Plants is displayed in biomes re-creating natural habitats that present a strong and coherent storyline. Located at the New York Botanical Garden.
