The Port of Geelong's story begins as far back as 1803 and the Museum portrays this story through displays of relics from shipwrecks, model ships, books, navigational instruments and other equipment.

Consists of three galleries: The Wool Harvest; From Fleece to Fabric; and the Temporary Exhibition Gallery. Also has a working 1910 Axminster carpet loom.
