Founded in 1905 and is the only rowing club on the Eastern Shore of the Derwent in Hobart. In November 1997 its clubrooms, boats and memorabilia were destroyed by fire.

Conducts races and provides training using a variety of sailing dinghies, including International Cadets, Optimists, 420s, and Lasers.

Men's, women's, mixed and junior touch football competitions in summer and winter, at Wentworth Park Howrah.
