Mountain Trail Showcases Kentucky's Natural
Supported by several state and federal agencies, the Pine Mountain Trail project is turning a 120-mile stretch of mountaintop wilderness into a non-motorized, multi-use public trail that eventually will connect several state and federal parks.
Pine Mountain State Resort Park
The first Kentucky State Park, created in 1924, has its lodge and trails embellished by rockwork crafted by stonemasons of the Civilian Conservation Corps of the 1930s.
