Civil War Flags of Illinois
Gives a history of the Illinois Infantry, Cavalry and Artillery regiment flags, and displays photos by branch of service and regiment. Includes additional information about Civil War flags in general and the conservation of flags. Many flags are preserved and displayed at Memorial Hall (Hall of Flags) in the Howlett building.
Illinois State Museum

Museum of Funeral Customs
Provides a history of American funeral and mourning customs, funerary art and practice, and the funeral profession through interpretive exhibits, virtual tours, special events, lectures, and authentic and replicated equipment, instruments, furnishings, coffins, embalming rooms, and hearses.
The Illinois National Guard and Militia Historical
A not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting the heritage of Illinois' citizen-soldiers. History students collect and preserve military artifacts, give tours, and maintain the historical documents and library on the Camp Lincoln National Guard grounds.
