Business Systems Modernization
Business Systems Modernization is the Defense Logistics Agency's strategy to re-engineer its logistics processes to reflect best commercial practices and contribute to improved military readiness.
Defense Distribution Center (DDC)
A Primary Level Field Activity (PLFA) of DLA. Principally responsible for the Distribution Management business area, one of five distinct but related business areas within DLSC.

Defense Logistics Agency (DLA)

Defense Logistics Information Service (DLIS)
Supports all logistics functions of the DoD, other Government Agencies and foreign governments through the collection, processing, storage and dissemination of data in the Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS). Provides standardization of part numbers throughout governmental supply systems.
Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMO)
Disposes of excess property received from the military services. Property that is not reutilized, transferred or donated is sold to the public as surplus. DRMS manages the DoD Surplus Property Sales Program.
Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service Intern
The official agency for worldwide reuse, recycling and disposal of property located outside the continental United States which has been declared excess to the needs of the Department of Defense.
Defense Supply Center Columbus (DSCC)
One of three Inventory Control Points of the Defense Logistics Agency.
Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP)
Inventory Control Point within the Defense Logistics Agency. DSCP annually provides over $5.46 billion worth of food, clothing, textiles, medicines, medical equipment, general and industrial supplies and services to America's warfighters, their eligible dependents and other non-DoD customers worldwide.
Defense Supply Center Richmond (DSCR)
Provides aviation weapon system and environmental logistics support to the armed forces.
Document Automation and Production Service (DAPS)
Responsible for document automation and printing within the DoD, encompassing electronic conversion, retrieval, output and distribution of digital and hardcopy information. Located at the DLA's headquarters at Fort Belvoir, Va.
Joint Group on Environmental Attributes (JGEnvAtt)
Spearheaded by DLA, an initiative to reach a consensus across the services on populating the Federal Logistics Information System with Environmental Attributes.
