An accredited, award-winning museum dedicated to exhibiting and interpreting the natural history of Monterey County, California. The museum also features permanent exhibits, special temporary exhibits, and an annual Wildflower Show.
Point Pinos Lighthouse
Since February 1, 1855, this lighthouse has provided as a nightly guide and warning to sailors off of the rocky California Coast. Today, it remains the oldest continuously-operating lighthouse on the West Coast, featuring exhibits, interpretive tours, and a small gift shop.
