The American Chestnuts of Nova Scotia
Ralph Johnson, a forester employed by Bowater Mersey of Liverpool listed the chestnuts. The most majestic is located at the Mount Uniacke museum estate and is approximately one hundred and seventy years old.

This was the property of Attorney-General, Richard John Uniacke, built between 1813 and 1815.
