Clarence E. Lewis Landscape Arboretum
Dedicated as a "learning experience in the making," the instructional arboretum has as its primary function to maximize students' exposure to and participation in landscape design, construction, and maintenance. It also provides the community at large with landscape demonstrations, featuring the complimentary use of plants and hardscape. Site provides information about the gardens and plant collections which comprise the arboretum.
G. Robert Vincent Voice Library
A primary contributor to the National Gallery of the Spoken Word, the Library contains taped speeches, performances, lectures, interviews, and broadcasts, by over 50,000 people from all walks of life. Features information about the collection and the digitization process by which it is being preserved.
Hidden Lake Gardens
This endowed public garden, located in Tipton, Michigan, features: year-round educational programs; thousands of labeled trees, shrubs, and flowers on display in indoor and outdoor collections; plant conservatory including tropical plants, arid plants, and a wide variety of flowering houseplants; Harper Collection of Dwarf and Rare Conifers; over five miles of marked hiking trails. Horticultural Demonstration Gardens
The perennial garden, annual trial garden, foyer garden, rose garden, and idea garden provide enjoyable learning environments. Annuals, perennials, roses, herbs, vegetables, trees, and shrubs growing in the garden illustrate horticulture, the art and science of gardening. Site includes a map, as well as general, visitor center, and membership information.
