Benefit undergraduate students new to the University of Kansas through earning 5 hours of KU credit, experiencing career counseling, understanding the university and how it works, learning coping and survival skills, meeting other KU students, getting to know faculty and administrators and acclimating to Lawrence and KU during the quiet time of summer.
General Counsel
Responsible for legal matters of the University of Kansas. provide counsel, assistance, and information to University employees about the policies and procedures of the University, the Board of Regents, and the State of Kansas. The General Counsel is generally available to provide such information relative to legal matters that arise out of the employee's conduct of his/her duties.

Originally established as a rumor control center in 1970, the Center now answers questions regarding KU, Lawrence, and just about everything else.
Legal Services for Students
Encourages students to seek the advice of an attorney in order to prevent legal difficulties and to provide assistance when they anticipate or encounter legal problems. Paid by the Student Activity Fee.
