Biotechnology
Biotechnology includes aquaculture, agriculture, medical/clinical areas, pharmaceutical and scientific research plus many other related areas. The program provides students with an educational base for entry level employment in this field.
Broadcasting
Audio equipment, Federal rules and regulations, journalism from a broadcast point of view, and announcing are included in this program of study.
Business Management
Comprehensive program includes general education, business, and technology courses. Emphasis is placed on developing leadership qualities, management strategies, and critical thinking skills.
Child Development
Two-year degree program is designed for the student who wishes to pursue a career in the growing fields of child care, early childhood education, special education, child and family social services, and/or counseling. The two internships, supervised by college faculty, provide the opportunity to gain practical experience.
Communication
Associate degree program is designed for students interested in the study of human communication leading to employment in this field or to further education resulting in a four-year baccalaureate degree. Theories of communication and liberal arts are combined with a hands-on approach to mass communication media.
Dental Administrative Assistant
Courses to provide skills in managing appointment scheduling, records, written communication, preventive recall programs, accounts receivable, dental insurance, expenses and disbursements. Dental internships provide the opportunity to utilize chairside and administrative procedures in both hospital and private settings.
Dietetic Technician
Education which will enable graduates to assist individuals of any age with nutrition care and counseling in hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, weight management programs and other health-related facilities and programs.
Environmental Technology
Provides students with an educational base for entry level employment in the environmental field. Affiliations with state and private colleges have been established to facilitate transfer of credits for additional education beyond the A.A.S. degree.
Executive Medical Assistant
Emphasis on technical skills, medical procedures, ethics, and terminology, educates the student to meet demands in the medical field.
General Studies
Designed for students planning to pursue a baccalaureate degree or to explore career areas while building an educational foundation within the parameters of a liberal arts base. Program graduates are awarded the Associate in Arts (AA) degree.
Health Information Technology
Designed to prepare students to become Health Information Technicians, knowledgeable and skilled in health information systems and procedures such as coding, abstracting, analysis, and transcription of health information required in hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory, and other health care facilities.
Hotel and Restaurant Management
Specialty within the Hospitality Management Program prepares students for careers in the field of hotel and restaurant management. Latest classroom theories of the hotel/restaurant industry are combined with the practical knowledge necessary to exercise management skills.
Justice and Law Administration
Designed for the student who is interested in career opportunities in Federal or State law enforcement agencies, correctional facilities, or private security. Specialized and general education coursework provides a broad education to assist the graduate in pursuit of further undergraduate or graduate education in the field of criminal justice. Emphasis is placed on practical application of criminal justice and correctional theories.
Marketing
Courses to develop skills in professional selling, market research, advertising, retail buying, distribution management, product development and wholesaling.
Marketing/Fashion Merchandising
Designed for those students who wish to pursue a career in the retailing area that specializes in the buying, displaying, promoting, and selling of fashion-related goods and services.
Medical Office Management
Designed for students planning to seek employment in managerial positions in private health care practices of two to six physicians. The comprehensive curriculum includes accounting skills, sound managerial practices and procedures, and familiarity with the principles of good labor relations. Health information systems and procedures, risk management, and nomenclature and classification systems are also emphasized.
Mortuary Science
Designed for the student who wishes to enter the field of funeral service. Students acquire the knowledge necessary to meet standards required by the American Board of Funeral Service Education and the International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards. Graduates are eligible to apply for the National Board Examination, which is recognized for licensure in most states.
Occupational Therapy Assistant
Prepares students with skills such as patient treatment for those impaired due to a physical illness, emotional disorder, congenital or developmental disability, or the aging process. Graduates will be able to work under the supervision of a registered occupational therapist.
Office Administration/Legal
Designed for the prospective office support professional who wishes to further specialize by preparing for a career in a law office, legal department, or governmental agency.

Designed for students who wish to prepare for administrative employment in offices of general practitioners, specialists, surgeons in private offices, hospitals, clinics or medical research centers.
Paralegal
Approved by the American Bar Association, the program is designed for the student who is interested in becoming a paralegal or legal assistant.
Travel and Tourism Management
Option within the Hospitality Management Program prepares students to assume positions in travel-related occupations. A comprehensive array of courses is offered, including an emphasis on hands-on training and experience in utilizing a major airline computer reservation system.
