Forum for discussion, interaction, program evaluation and policy formulation for the various professional education programs at CCSU. Designed to increase faculty governance and input into the decision making process within the School of Education and Professional Studies and a mechanism for review of all professional programs leading to certification.
Office of Field Experience
Responsible for coordinating various types of experiences where teacher candidates have opportunities to learn about teaching in the community and in schools.
Professional Development School Network
Collaboration between the School of Education and Professional Studies and five school districts to identify goals for student learning, select interventions to meet those goals, conduct professional development specific to the learning goals, and systematically inquire into the effectiveness of the interventions to make decisions about the next steps in the cycle of student learning improvement.

Offers programs leading to Bachelor of Science Degrees in Education, Nursing, Health Fitness and Athletic Training as well as Masters of Science Degrees in Educational Leadership, School Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Physical Education and Health Fitness, Reading and Language Arts, Special Education and Teacher Education.
