AFEGAZ (European Gas Flame Association) was established to promote the search for and conservation of gas production, appliance and distribution equipment of historical interest, especially lighting, as well as to encourage the development of new technologies aiming at boosting gas usage.

The Club is for students and collectors of historic lighting, ranging from pre-historic through burning fluid, kerosene, gas, early electric and all forms and shapes. The site has a message board, reference library, and information about membership.
