This project is about developing plugins for the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is also about creating a community for plugin developers.

The unsharp mask is the standard tool for sharpening images, especially photographs. It is less affected by noise than a standard sharpening filter and usually produces more natural-looking results. This plug-in is much faster than the script that is distributed with GIMP 1.0.0. It allows you to control the radius, amount, and threshold instead of just the radius, as the script does.

A plugin for Gimp for creating natural looking paintings and similar.

Multisection uses the guide lines pulled from the rulers at the top and left of the image to define sections. Multisection will then create a new window for each section. This is useful when using GIMP to design WWW pages with fancy JavaScript buttons for example. Now includes the paste-as-new-image feature.

Warp is supposed to do a generalized warping or twisting operation that can cause an image to "curl up" in different areas (the "whirl" effect only does one large, uniform curl over the entire image).
