The EYO, a full symphony orchestra with 100 players aged between 13 and 21 years, has developed into one of the pre-eminent youth orchestras of the United Kingdom.

Approximately 100 musicians aged 12 to 21 are selected at annual auditions and attend bi-annual residential courses. NYOS performs two New Year Concerts in Glasgow and Edinburgh and tours European venues annually.
