Irish Studies Program
The Program offers MA and PhD degrees in Irish history and literature. It explores the diversity of Irish culture through academic and performance activities at the university and through links with Irish universities and institutions in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Maynooth and Belfast.

The undergraduate program has always been noted for its focus on the development of the professional nurse, and is rooted in the liberal arts. Our graduates are noted for their clinical judgement. Recently, we developed a program for non-nurse college graduates who want to become nurses. They spend one year in pre-specialty education and then move directly into the master's program.
