Maitland Historical Society and Museums
The Society operates 4 museums in Maitland: The Historic Waterhouse Residence and Carpentry Shop Museums, The Maitland Historical Museum and Giftshop and The Telephone Museum. The Society exists to collect, preserve, interpret and exhibit artifacts and records pertaining to the Maitland area.
New Hope for Grieving Children and Families
Programs include the Center for Grieving Children where children mourning the death of a loved one can share their experience. Child Wish grants wishes to children with life-threatening illnesses.
