The Idaho Falls Symphony was founded in 1949 when student and adult musicians gathered to rehearse for the community's production of Handel's Messiah. Today, the orchestra still consists of volunteer and paid musicians from Idaho Falls and surrounding communities gathering together to play the world's great music.
